DENERIM TIMES

Massacre at the Landsmeet: Was Teyrn Loghain’s death part
of an Orlesian plot?

Today marks the two month anniversary of the
execution of Teyrn Logain, the Hero of River Dane.
And as Ferelden rebuilds itself in the wake of the
Blight that hit so soon after his death, the question
we must ask ourselves is: was this truly justice?

There are many who would argue that Loghain was an
evil man. There are claims that he was involved in
slavery and assassination attempts, that he may
even have been responsible for the death of King
Cailan. But on closer examination the evidence for
these claims begin to look very shaky.

Let us consider the claims of assassination attempts:
he has been accused of conspiring to assassinate Arl
Eamonn and King Aedan. Yet both these men still live.
And who do we have as witnesses to these so called
assassination attempts? A blood mage and an Antivan
Crow. The mage cannot be questioned any further
having been conveniently executed by the Circle. The
Crow claims to have been sent to kill King Aedan, yet
spent several years in his employ and is now one of
his trusted advisors. There are even murmurings of
some more sordid relationship between the two men.
Can we really trust these accusations?

As for the death of King Cailan, it is well known that...

Come and get some FINE DWARVEN CRAFTS. Direct from Orzammar. You won't find better! See Gorim in the Denerim Market District

Haven: the hot new holiday destination for the fashionable pilgrim

There was no greater day for any true Andrastian
than when it was announced that Andraste’s
ashes had been found. Long considered legend, they
were recently rediscovered by chantry scholar
brother Gentivi, and this has prompted a wave of
pilgrims to their location in the remote mountain
village of Haven.

Located in the picturesque Frostback mountains, this
tiny village is not only home to the ashes but has
some of the best ski slopes this side of the Kocari
Wilds.

For advice on the best time to visit and suggestions
on what to do while you’re there check out our
travel section on page 29.

Hah, very nice. I especially like the bold advertisement off to the side, "Fine Dwarven Crafts..." ...every time I walk past that guy he says it every time, it's kind of annoying really :O heh
You must of put a lot of work into this

Thanks!

This one wasn't too much work, but only because I'd already figured out the layout and style etc from the other one, which took FOREVER :)

Aww, this is so cute! Love the woodcut. I could totally see this as a codex entry in a sequel game or something!
